In this blog post we'll go through the steps to install video chat capabilities onto your website

‍

‍

Step 0: Before starting, make sure you have a camera and mic on your device. You'll also need access to your website's code.

If you don't have a website, refer to the Consolto personal page blog.‍

Step 1: Login to your Consolto Backoffice and make sure you're availability is set to "Available".

‍


Step 2: Copy the script from the Widget Center. IMPORTANT: if you have a multi-agent account and would like to install the multi-agent widget, please copy the script from the team-center instead of the script from the widget-center.

Step 3: Paste it on your website's HTML code, preferably in the end of the <body> tag.

You can also install on Wordpress, Shopify, Wix, or on any platform with Google tag manager

Step 4: Load your website. You will see the Consolto widget on the bottom right. Click it and hit the "Call" button. 


Step 5: Answer the call from your Consolto Backoffice and let the magic begin.

Tips:

It's always better to use an HTTPS website as the user experience is much better.

Feel free to setup and configure the look&feel of your plugin from the Consolto widget center.
