In the event that the screen sharing isn’t functioning properly, we recommend following the steps below based on your operating system and browser

macOS:

Chrome:

  1. Click on the Apple menu () in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Select "System Preferences."
  3. Click on "Security & Privacy."
  4. Click on the "Privacy" tab.
  5. Scroll down the left sidebar and click on "Screen Recording."
  6. Find Google Chrome in the list of applications. If Google Chrome is not listed, it means the browser has not yet requested screen recording access.
  7. Check the box next to Google Chrome to grant it screen recording permissions. You may need to click the lock icon in the bottom left corner and enter your password to make changes.
  8. Restart Google Chrome for the changes to take effect.

If you are using Safari version below 13.0, please move to a newer version to enable screen sharing capabilities

  3. Click on "Security & Privacy."
  4. Click on the "Privacy" tab.
  5. Scroll down the left sidebar and click on "Screen Recording."

  8. Restart Safari for the changes to take effect.

Firefox:

  1. Click on the Apple menu () in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Select "System Preferences."
  3. Click on "Security & Privacy."
  4. Click on the "Privacy" tab.
  5. Scroll down the left sidebar and click on "Screen Recording."
  6. Find Firefox in the list of applications. If Firefox is not listed, it means the browser has not yet requested screen recording access.
  7. Check the box next to Firefox to grant it screen recording permissions. You may need to click the lock icon in the bottom left corner and enter your password to make changes.

Windows:

Chrome, Firefox and Edge:

By default, Windows does not require users to grant individual applications access to screen sharing. However, you may need to enable screen sharing on a system level, particularly when using Windows 10:

  1. Click on the Start button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  2. Click on the Settings icon (shaped like a gear) to open the Windows Settings.
  3. Click on "Privacy."
  4. In the left sidebar, scroll down and click on "Camera."
  5. Under "Allow apps to access your camera," make sure the toggle is set to "On."
  6. Scroll down to "Choose which Microsoft Store apps can access your camera" and make sure "Desktop app Web Viewer" is enabled.

Enjoy :)
