In the event that the video chat isn’t functioning properly, we recommend following the steps below.

If the call doesn't ring on my side:

  1. Check if your availability is set to "Available"
  2. If you've set up a PayPal account, make sure the PayPal email is valid. Try switching your "Money-transactions" off.

If there’s no video captured on my client’s side (I can't see them)

  1. Verify that your browser has access to the camera & mic. (Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, FireFox)
  2. Verify that your client has their camera connected.
  3. Make sure that Consolto supports the device/browser your client is using
  4. Check that your client’s camera is enabled and that it’s not being used by another program. 
  5. Ask your client if they approved access to the camera when the call started.
  6. If it's a paid call, the video only starts AFTER payment is sent. 

If no video is captured on my side (they can’t see me)

  1. Verify that your browser has access to the camera & mic. (Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, FireFox)
  2. Verify that your camera is connected and enabled. Verify that no other program is using it.
  3. Make sure that you approved access to the camera when the call started.
  4. Check that the device/browser is supported.
  5. If it's a paid call, the video only starts AFTER payment is sent.
